Before a business goes live, we get to know the person behind it — we hear the story, understand how they work, and sometimes we come to visit.
Four steps, one person on the other side. This is how it works from the request to going live.
It all starts with a short form — what's made, from which ingredients, and where. Every request is read by a person, from the very first word.
A personal conversation — on WhatsApp or by phone. Who stands behind the business, what a workday looks like, and where the raw ingredients come from.
Sometimes we travel. When it helps us understand the place — we come to see the kitchen, the farm, or the hive with our own eyes.
We've gotten to know them, there's a fit — the business goes live. That's it: now you can find it and message it directly.
It's added when an official licensing or exemption document is submitted, and we review it. Without the badge, the business is still here — and still went through the same personal introduction as everyone else.
No matter the category and no matter whether there's a badge — these three things are checked for everyone, always.
Who stands behind the business. A real name and place. No anonymity.
How and why they work this way. What goes into the product — and what doesn't.
We talked. A person across from us, not a form that approved itself.
The "Verified" badge says one thing: an official licensing or exemption document was submitted — and we reviewed it.
Some categories are legally exempt from licensing — they have no document to show, simply because none is required. Such a business is "Declared": a binding declaration of lawful operation was signed, and the business went through the same personal introduction as everyone else.
The badge marks an extra document — not extra trust.
We don't hide the criteria. Here, by category, is the document that earns the "Verified" badge — and when "Declared" is exactly the right path.
Here the law requires a license — so here there's always an official document (from the local authority or the Ministry of Health) that was submitted and reviewed. Without a valid license, the business simply doesn't go live.
Here the law exempts from licensing. Most businesses will be "Declared" — a full path in its own right. Whoever wishes can add an exemption approval or registration and also receive a "Verified" badge.
Our process is personal, and the criteria update with the law and with new categories. If something isn't clear — talk to us, and we'll explain.
I want to know who I'm buying from. I built a place where you know too.
Tell us about it. We'll read it, get back to you, and start getting to know you.
